Piano Lessons

I offer individual, one on one PIANO LESSONS to school age children and adults from BEGINNERS TO GRADE 8 and in consultation with parents and students, adjust repertoire and teaching methods to suit individual needs.

My lessons include both technique and musicianship, and I work with each student to ensure that they gain the technical skills necessary to reach a high level of musical achievement and performance.

I am happy to prepare students for music exams when required and can also offer help and guidance for students working towards the NCEA music achievement standards.

Lesson Fees 2020

*Most students usually require a 30-minute lesson, however advanced students and those wishing to undertake a formal exam will require longer lesson times.

Terms & Conditions

Tuition fees are invoiced and emailed in the last week of each school term.

Invoices paid within one week of the date of the invoice will be eligible for a 10% prompt payment discount.

Missed Lessons

Students are requested to give as much notice as possible of any absences. Unexplained absences may result in the lesson fee being forfeited.

Students are also requested not to attend lessons if they are sick. The lesson fee will not be payable in the case of illness.

Practice

All students are expected to practice their pieces, exercises and scales as detailed in their individual lessons. Regular daily practice is essential for students to make progress on their musical instrument.
